Event Notification

You can tell LogMeister / EventMeister to watch incoming data for certain criteria and take appropriate action, such as issuing an onscreen alert, sending an email, running a script or generating a separate log (see Event Notification Types below).

You can specify complex match criteria, and can even specify trigger thresholds and frequency of alerts based upon prior events.

Supported Event Notification Types

The following notification types are supported:

• Alert people by email (with optional attachments)
• Send SMS or pager alerts via an email-to-SMS gateway
• Run a script, command line or application
• Write out entries to a log
• Create and email a report
• Display a popup (when front end is running only)
• Play a sound (when front end is running only)
